Halloween Festivities

Another great Halloween has come and gone. The kids were so adorable. It was so much fun to watch Sarah for her first Halloween. This little girl just gets stuff. Halloween did not phase her one bit. She walked up to every door and said, "Trick or Treat!"  She loved handing out the candy to other kids, and she really loved wearing her costume.

Here are some highlights.

Look who gave themselves a haircut today!

Monster Reunion

Brig was in a school play this week called, "Monster Reunion". He played the part of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I think he had such a terrific time doing this play. He is such a creative person that it is fun to watch him unleash his creativity.

We took all the kids to watch him, and they were all amazing. The play was pretty funny and Kate was gut laughing most of the time. Both sets of grandparents made the drive up from SLC to watch our cute Brigs. I would have to say it was a raging success!

Sugar Cookies

The kids made our traditional halloween sugar cookies tonight. It was Sarah's first time, but she looked like a pro. She loved rolling the dough, using the cookie cutters and decorating. She especially liked eating the sprinkles.  I'm grateful that with seven kids, I still feel like doing some fun things. It is worth it just too see the kid's cute faces enjoying it so much.

She was saying "I did it!"

Brig's First Tennis Tournament

Brig has been taking tennis for awhile, but just recently has started to look like a real tennis player. He played in his first tennis tournament this week, and I had such a great time watching him ... and taking pictures of him. I really like the way they did this. The kids were matched with someone at their level and then with a tennis pro. So in essence they were playing a doubles tournament. Brig was a lot of fun to watch, and I was a proud mom of course! Here are some of the highlights.

Happy Birthday Mr. John!

Look who turned 5! I can't believe my little boy is getting so big. This birthday was by far the most exciting for him. He counted down the days, knew what he wanted for presents (LEGOS thank you very much), and kept saying, "Thanks for my birthday, mom!" all day long. He is seriously one of the cutest and nicest boys around.

He planned his menu out - Swedish pancakes for breakfast, Fried Chicken for dinner and chocolate cake.

We LOVE this adorable 5 year old.
